Professional Drainage Service in Kirkland - Trusted Plumbers for All Your Issues
While it may be possible for minor drain cleaning to be performed by the homeowner, some blockages need to be addressed by an experienced plumber. Drain blockages occur over time from the accumulation of debris in your pipes from regular use, such as dirt, hair, soap, and food waste. Some of these blockages can be deep down and stubborn. You’ll notice water draining slowly from your tub, shower, bathroom sink, or kitchen sink. This may be accompanied by an unpleasant odor.
Get to the root of the problem.
Instead of pouring more and more harsh chemicals down your drain, call us in. As part of our drain cleaning service, we will assess the root of the problem and determine the best way to proceed. Your clogged drain may require a rooter or our hydro-jetting service. Hydro jetting is an extremely effective way to fully clean your pipes to ensure the greatest efficiency. It uses high powered water pressure to scour the surface of your pipes, removing any buildup and debris. Hydro jetting should always be performed by a plumber experienced with the procedure. Read more about hydro jetting here.
Why consult an expert?
While drain clogs can seem like a minor issue, they can get worse over time, and do-it-yourself treatments can be a bandaid solution. In addition, our assessment may reveal that your problem is more serious than clog, such as an issue with your sewer line or septic system.
Hiring a drain cleaning company will save you money in the long run, as we will quickly pinpoint the true source of your drainage problems, and you will also receive invaluable advice on protecting your home from future clogs.

RooterPal Tips: Preventing a Clogged Drain
1. Don’t pour grease down the drain. Let it cool and reuse, recycle, or throw it in the garbage.
2. Run a little hot water after every use of your sink to help particles and oils move down the drain and prevent them from accumulating in the pipes.
3. Install a stopper in your showers and tubs that utilizes a mesh screen to catch hair and debris.
4. Only flush human waste and toilet tissue. Other items, even small ones, should go in the trash or recycle bin.
5. Don’t let food go down the drain. Dispose of in a food waste container and add it to your yard waste bin. If you have a garbage disposal, be sure to run cold water while it grinds.
