Foundation Waterproofing

Foundation Waterproofing

Waterproofing is the process of making the foundation of a building capable of blocking any water or moisture to ensure a dry and safe house interior.

Originally Every house is built with a drainage system next to its footing called the footing drain, the job of the of the footing drain is a perforated pipe is to collect any water from the base of the footing drain all around the perimeter of the building and redirect it away from the building (usually a city storm drain system).

Over time this perforated footing drain gets saturated with roots and dirt and can no longer do its job, then the water can start rising behind the foundation creating hydraulic pressure and pushing the water inside the building (either the basement or the crawlspace) through small cracks.

To restore the waterproofing of your building Rooter Pal Plumbing offers foundation waterproofing using the most reliable materials and  procedure.
