Trees are prized elements of our beautiful pacific northwest landscape but the growth of the root systems may sometimes become threatening to underground utilities including water pipes.
Every year there is a spike in main water line repair after a major windstorm when trees move around in the wind and underground roots also start moving and damaging nearby water pipes.
Always check your water meter for possible leaks after a windstorm to make sure the main water pipe from the water meter to your house is leak-free.
Call us if you see an unusual spike in your water bill.
